Offering both post-cutting and pre-grinding heat treatment, our ovens are capable of normalising and stress relieving up to a maximum temperature of 900°C, with a capacity of 3800 mm x 3700 mm and a height of 2070 mm.

Cutting processes using extreme temperatures, such as flame, laser and plasma cutting, create a Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) that can alter the property and microstructure of a metal. In some cases this can weaken a material or lead to it becoming more brittle. P.P. Group’s heat treatment services are suitable for both full supply and free issue profiles and will reduce the heat affected zone. Full fabricated structures or single plates can be treated.
